allblue Posted May 11, 2014 Share Posted May 11, 2014 Hi, Fusebox faults on mk5/6 are common. Caused by poor soldering from the factory, which over time dries and cracks, leading to broken connections. Sometimes, people can do a cheap fix by bridging the gap between two faults with a wire (as looks like in photo). But ultimately you either need a new fusebox (different types for escorts were used, depending on year and factory spec). Or you can resolder each joint.
