Vincygav Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 Thought I would do a how to with pics on changing the bulb & battery on torch key. Push the Ford logo on the key to release the battery/torch compartment. Use the flat screwdriver or your nails to prize it apart in half Get your battery and bulb ready, trying not to touch the battery leaving fingerprints Give the contacts and bulb holder and body a clean Once clean, install the bottom copper contact Then install the spring, make sure its under the lug on the key Install the upper copper contact which touches the base of the bulb Install the new bulb Place the new battery under the button holder then rest it on the spring place the cover over and push it into place, fitting squarely Test the light for operation, if it is on permanently, reopen and twist the spring the reinsert Fit back into the main key body and test, JOB DONE!
