Guest GINGExR2T
. Hi all, Picking up a 90spec Cabby later today but it has a manual roof, I have another cabby which has a power one so gonna change it over at some point, do I have to change the whole thing (complete roof with frame etc) or can the power motor be fitted to the non-power frame. I need the roof on the doner car to work afterwards aswell. Cheers Ginger . Edited February 11, 2014 by GINGExR2T
badger
you can just change the pump/rams and mounting pins if you take the two locking handles /rams and ball joint pins from the manual and put them back on the other car it'll be the same the biggest problem is the wiring i personally would just wire it up direct i'm sure there is a guide on the site somewhere. Guest GINGExR2T
. Cheers mate, that seems a nice easy job then :-) the doner car is in bit at the moment so removing the wiring or copying it shouldn't be an issue. Ginger .
