Guest Lee81
Mine used to click once when the ignition is switched on. Though only once. Assume yours is doing it a few times then maybe you have a fault. If the cars running right I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you start noticing a decrease or increase in boost that is
gingergman
it clicks about 4 times really fast when ignition is on then thats it, ive got another and it does the same thing. it does run iffy but not been out in it for ages to see of anything else i have done has sorted it. it ran perfect in donor car, dont recall it clicking then. gingergman
is it worth fucking it off for a bleed valve? wont need any wiring then??
Guest GINGExR2T
. Seen this before on my old XR2 turbo, charged it for a spare and was ok so guessing it was faulty and seamed to drive Better with one fitted. Ginger .

Guest Lee81
I'd keep it as it is. I don't know the spec your running so I would suggest getting it setup. If you switch to a bleed valve you'll change the boost characteristics. You then run the risk of having areas in the map that are lean which will destroy the engine. If it's chipped already it'll only cost £200 for a setup which will make sure what's working and AFR's are as they should be. No other way of checking this. Guest Lee81
I took mine to jam-sport they know these cars inside out. Mine had a poorly adjusted actuator, boost leak on dump valve. And fueling was too rich. They sorted the faults and set it up for £220. Without the rolling road you would never have seen the problems
