Guest dajafu2002
I have had the chance to buy a 1987 solid body cabriolet. It not a mfi or efi engine in the car but the older carb type. I am after some advice on what I would need to do electrically to fit the engine, and what additional gear I would need and some costings . Thanks
Admin Paul Posted January 27, 2014 Admin Share Posted January 27, 2014 Do you wish to fit a Escort RS Turbo engine or the later Fiesta RS Turbo engine? The Escort is MFI and the Fiesta is EFI
Guest dajafu2002
It would be the mfi engine from the escort, I am looking at. I have not brought the engine yet, so quite open to suggestions as well
Admin Paul Posted January 28, 2014 Admin Share Posted January 28, 2014 like in your other post, you would need the engine and loom from the donor car. I have some brand new EFI cabriolet looms available that would take the later EFI engine or Fiesta RS Turbo or Zetec
Admin Paul Posted January 28, 2014 Admin Share Posted January 28, 2014 The cost is £175.00 delivered
