Guest Royv412 Posted October 23, 2013 Share Posted October 23, 2013 Hi guys, Sorry if this has been answered before but I can't find it anywhere, I have a mk5 which has a heated front screen, wiring loom behind the dash, wiring loom under the bonnet, screen is connected to the loom and it runs to the main connector then the fuse next to the battery. When I turned the lights on the switch lights up but when I press the switch nothing happens, thought the switch was faulty but it's not, checked the fuse and it was fine, checked the relay, in the Haynes manual it says R1, when I checked there wasnt anything in R1, I tried to put a relay in and there are no contacts, Does anyone know if this means I can't get the front screen to work or is there some way to add a relay?
