Guest Phoenix83 Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 I appear to have broken the driveshaft on my cabriolet, its not sitting tight and pulls away from the wheel when driving.Only trouble is the engine has been changed to a 1.8 zetec and a xr3 gear box in a mk3 escort so I am unsure what car the driveshaft would have come from when the old owner did the conversion.Any ideas please?? badger Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 the driveshaft should fit ok i use them in mine with zetec conversion when you say it pulls away from front wheel when driving do you mean the whole thing cv joint as well or just the shaft from the cv joint. Guest Phoenix83 Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 The whole thing moves about 2 inches side to side when you get under the car and move it. It just doesnt seem to fit.
