welshlad Posted March 31, 2013 Share Posted March 31, 2013 Trying to get hold of a super chip but as we know they are like rocking horse ***t to find so i did a little research and found super chips for sale in the USA, and they fit a certain 1.6 or 1.9 (unsure which) CVH EFI american escort GT model, Anyone know if they would have the same ECU as our 1.6 EFI's http://www.streetperformance.com/part/superchips/computer-chip-module-upgrade/555118-1100.html this is the chip it lists the FORD ESCORT GT/GLS etc in the auto fitment list http://wikicars.org/en/Ford_Escort_(North_America) Ford escort GT http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Escort_(North_America)#Engines_2 Engine info on north american escort cvh's etc So do any of you reckon the chip should fit if its for a American 1.6 CVH EFI and what if its for the 1.9 version will it fit then ??
