I bought my yellow Escort a few month ago with a clutch problem and finally decided to tak e a look at it. Dismounting the gearbox was a real mess but still managed to do it but reverse is a bit more complicated as the left back gearbox support won't get back in place. I managed to put the three upper screws back in but I hab to remove the down most one and now the mount just won't come out. does anyone has a trick to do this?
