Guest royston666 Posted May 23, 2012 Share Posted May 23, 2012 hi there new to site, so i,ll be brief have 1990 xr3i efi with possible map problem, it started about six month ago car ran lumpy so i disconnecting act sensor once removed it ran fine , i replaced sensor plugged it back in and still same problem, so i left it disconnected and has been runnig fine until a week ago its started running lumpy and driving eractic checked act sensor plug voltage and its reading about 5 volts been told on tick over it should only reading 2volts, exactley the same at map sensor end, 5 volt on idle and does not change when you rev it now ive got map sensor unplugged to run car . everytime i plug map sensor in car fails to start , i have new map sensor and act sensor fitted them and still fails to start will i need to reset ecu Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
