Guest Pierre
Hi Re. Low mileage K reg XR3i Cabriolet Could anyone point me in the right direction to get a valuation. It's my Mum's car and as it's hardly used over the years she keeps thinking of selling it but still loves it so can't part with it to date. Therefore I mainly need a valuation for insurance purposes, although it would also be nice to know what it's worth. It's a red K reg 1.8 Xr3i Cabriolet (one of the last I think?), absolutely immaculate and although not concours it's not far off, unrestored & completely original, black electric hood, it only does around 300 miles a year, garaged from new, 2nd owner, 42k genuine miles, lots of MOT's, pretty full service history, first owner was Peter Vosper, the Ford dealer. Pic below. Would be grateful of any help. Thanks John
Guest John
when u go for insurance put a value on what you think it deserves they will either agree, decline & give you a lower value or offer you the chance to take it to approved estimater for the sum of £200 & you still aren't guarenteed to get what you want. look on various sites to gauge a price n work from there matey mines is valued way lower than what its worth because i aint gonna pay for a valuation. hope this helps
