Guest Alanman
My mate painted his BMW matt white and its not too bad to look after as far as I know. He painted his with tins (a lot of) Proffesional Graffiti Paint. He uses it everyday and comes clean pritty easy but any stubbon marks he'll just paint it again. lol. Guest no1birdman
looks nice, its easy to clean if you do not use white primer, you just have the shine taken out of the paint. I only use synthetic one pack so do not know about how you would do it in 2 pack.Did mine in satin black but do not like it much will do it matt black then if matt white looks good will try that. Going to have a look up of that graffiti paint it loooks nice Edited December 2, 2011 by no1birdman
Guest Alanman
He used about £150 worth. It sounds a lot, but thats a f'in cheap respray. The tins he used >>>>>>>>>>>> http://www.graff-cit...products_id=189 Edited December 2, 2011 by Alanman

Guest no1birdman
hi, did not realise it was a rattle can, no problem i sprayed the bottom half of my cab once with chrome rattle can from plasticote it came out great but only lasts for about 4 months then had to keep doing but 2 tins did it after the first 6 cans. You could spray it with a couple of litres of white synthetic for 20pounds then go over with this stuff, It seems rattle cans have come a long way the last couple of years, I think people who have never sprayed knock them but you can get a good finish dead easy doing a matt colour. That is cheap spray painting 3 tins over a litre of paint so 10 tins over 3 litres easily enough to do a cab, I did mine with 2 litres satin black over yellow/chrome. Guest Alanman
Rattle cans can be poor, but this stuff is made for grafitiing so it covers anything. He had no problems with coverage and no reactions anywhere. It's been done now about 10 months and still looks as good now.

Guest no1birdman
just got matt white primer and matt white top coat, it looks hard to spray the white topcoat over the primer as u cannot see much difference under lights, think will wait till after xmas and do it at mates spray shop, the whitest white i could get was ral9010 pure white. Guest no1birdman
one of the easiest paint jobs ever done, the matte white covers everything and does not show any imperfections in the prep, sprayed it at 70psi pressure with a massive compressor 8.5hp, but could do it easily with a small cheap aldi like compressor if done 1 panel at a time. gingergman
thats alot of vents
Guest no1birdman
i know, either covering up my welding, letting air into diesel engine or just had a few vents over and stuck them on, makes it a bit different, had it 20 years, oil sprayed underneath every few months, no rust, diesel tank in boot, easier to do brake pipes and easier to bleed diesel pump now.does easy 50mpg knocking about a lot more on a good run
