maido Posted September 26, 2011 Share Posted September 26, 2011 hi all. what do i need to convert my roof to a power 1.I think it has bein at 1 point it looks like the motor and burnt out fuse in the boot above passenger rear wheel.But i havent got the switch inside the car to operate it so im not sure whats going on? Guest El87cabi Posted September 26, 2011 Share Posted September 26, 2011 lift up the gearstick gaiter and have a feel around to the left of the gearstick, you should find a plug that looks like your electric window switch plug, thats your roof switch, someone probably changed the centre console thats why you don't have a hole. Once you've got the fuse changed give it a try if you can't find the roof switch you can use a passenger side window switch til you do. All the destructions to put the hood from manual override to power again are in the haynes manual plus how you bleed the air out the system. You may want to check your hydraulic rams before you test it though, they're are located behind the rear speaker pods, make sure they don't leak, no one like's a car smelling of hydraulic fluid.
