Guest mic
hi! the red warning light (only usually comes on for handbrake) comes on from time to time. doesnt stay on for long but happens every trip whether a short one or long one. ive checked the oil/water/brake fluid and topped em all up and it still does it. what have i missed? thanks
Guest dicko601
theres a switch on the handbrake itself, i think youll find its that,,,,,
chaz
Agree, sometimes when I put my handbrake down the light does not go off, I pull it up and down again and it goes off, I need to replace the switch, probably you need to do that too. Guest corrie
i agree with chaz but also check the free play on your hand brake. if you can hang your cap on it then you need to adjust your rear shoes as the free play makes the handbrake wiggle and move up and down allowing the switch to be opened. Guest Hearsepilot
Do you have wear sensors on your front pads?
