Bodykit General Question.

I want wide arches. I can't find a bodykit for the 5b, so if I got a kit for the 5a (cosworth eg...) how much of a nightmare would it be to smooth it into the narrower front headlights of the b?

Alternatively, Any suggestions for a 5B kit that'll allow me to extend the arches and make my purple chariot look a bit wider and more manly? Or can I just grab a kit from a completely different car and smooth it in - I love Alanmans Rieger kit, but pretty sure that's not possible to easily adapt.

The car's coming off the road for a few months for some adjustments, and I'm trying to get as much done as possible before winter stops play.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers

Chris.

Thats the one. Mine's a 94. Theoretically, I reckon the 5a and 5 b should be the same (baring the wider headlight fitment), but every one I stumble across seems listed as a MK5, and I've queried with 3 different sellers (1 company, 2 on eBay) and they say wont go on a b.

If I have a lot of mucking about, I'll start looking for something a little more radical that deserves the effort, rather than looking like a million tin tops. But I like the Esc Cosworth look. Ooh decisions. If it was possible to fit some sort of Dimma kit on it I'd be there like a shot, but not sure thats at all possible without a lot of expense as I don't think they ever made a kit for non-french motors (R5GT, Pug's, Citroens etc).
