Guest Savage
Havent a clue to be honest. I know the front was shot, needed a batch of other things doing as well so just gave the car to someone considerably more technical than me and he said front and rear were dead. Quite scary having to fight the steering on motorway runs if I remember correctly.
Guest avul
hi gavin just ad a look on ur profile & take it frm the interior its a mk6, only saw the 1's wiv the wirin prob's. the mk3&4's ad track control arm's front & independent rear suspension which use's wishbone's the mk5&6's ad wishbone's front & a beam axle on the rear, so the rear doesn't use wishbone's on these model's. if u changed 1 front 1, the chance's r the other is shot 2 & it's best 2 chance these as a pair most of the time, also u will need 2 get the trackin set up after u do pretty much any thin 2 the suspension wen u change 4 a new part, its very unlikely that u will get this prob frm the rear unless the rear shock's r totally shot but i did ave this sort of prob on my mk3, the prob wiv that was goin down the road & wen i hit a bump it made the rear end skip about, not nice at 80mph on the m11, made the cheek's nip up a bit!!! lol, new shock's & that was sorted. wiv the front of the mk5&6 the prob wiv the wishbone's is the rubber pivitt joint's rip out, (witch u prob noticed on the 1 u replaced) & wen u brake & accelarate the wishbone's move about witch alter's the trackin dramatically & the car will pull all over the place & can b very dangerous, but wiv the trackin if that's not set up afterward's properly u will scrub out ur tyre's. hope this help's, if u need anymore advice just ask. regards mark

Guest Savage
I kept the standard shocks on when we lowered it but they're now toast so getting them changed over start of Sept... MOT, shocks, couple niggly bits, and raising it up. 100mm is too low a drop, going to go to 60's.
