Guest LeeJones
Hi all was a member on here a while ago but for the life of me cant rember my user name or password had a few cabs over the years when I was on here I had a bright purple one with 3 spoke bk's alloys and white roof then got a nice rs turbo cab in white on f plate the best I had and now looking to do a new project with an mfi cab was reading an old thread about a zetec conversion into mk4/orion,was wondering if you could kindly answer a few questions for me 1. I have searched all over the internet and have found that the mondeo engine loom only has around 8 wires to conect to the original loom is that the wiring done as some other threads I have seen people make a seperate fuse box with a couple of relays and fuses and thats what confuses me 2. obviously the mk4 does not have a hego sensor so you wire it to the fuse box with a 10 amp fuse then to the fuel pump,do you use a sectin of zetec exhaust to mount the sensor 3.do early mondeos have an egr and is it easy to blank 4.And if the donour car has PATS system as long as you place the reader and key into the mk4 there should be no issues this would be a 2.0 silvertop into mfi mk4 thanks for any help as I know this is an old conversion but with so many different opics about it
