Guest davo705 Posted June 15, 2011 Share Posted June 15, 2011 hi when i got the car previuos owner said if he left it for a long time it was a pig to start ,in as much as once it fired you could not rev it for about 15mins,then once in daily use it was fine!!! any how car has been sat for 6 months & will not start.ive cracked fuel lines at fuel distributer & there seems good pressure. also if i temp wire a permament live to 5th injector it will run on a lumpy tick over.but as soon as you touch the throttle it dies ideas would be great cheers brian Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest LeeJones Posted July 1, 2011 Share Posted July 1, 2011 Hi mate have no worked on cabs for a whiles but te 5th injector i belive is a cold start valve,as it was on my rs turbo,that would start but die then splutter as soon as I did a few miles in it was fine,I know when my efi cab was playing up it was due to the fueld pressure regulator but not sure if the mfi has one what engine is in yours Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest sean defty Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Hi Guys i have a problem and wondered if you could help i dont seem to have any power to my cold start valve and wondered if i should have when turned on, there is no spark from the coil to dizzy cap and car want start , just turns over can any body help regards sean.
