Guest JohnBrown
Hi all, I took the cabby in to a garage as the door handle linkage had broken, they fixed that but now the window doesnt go all the way up! it gets to within about 10mm of the top and just clicks, I feel farily sure that this is an adjustment issue and probably something that is fairly straight forward for you experts out there, can anyone advise me on the best solution? (other than taking it back to the garage who i have no faith in)
Guest mac
what mk is this mk4 or 5? if its a mk4 take the door card off and have a look at the runners on eather side you will see 2 wheels one each side that run side to side when the window goes up or down, have a look and see if one of the wheels has poped out of the runner this may be the cause of the window not fully closing

Guest shaun
check the teeth on the regulator as they have snapped in the past. other than that it's getting jammed something garage may have done
gingergman
your best bet is to take the door card off and take a look, it may be something simple thats blocking it where the garage havent finished it off properly. and as said above, check the teath on the mech for broken or missing ones.
