Guest derrick Posted June 10, 2011 Share Posted June 10, 2011 hi everyone i have a mk5 white cabbie 91 plate that im thinking of selling in the near future im going to see how it goes at its next mot in august if it needs to much i may sell or part exchange it i dont know. i owned a dark grey d plate cabbie and i still prefer these cars to my mk5 what im asking is what kind of price would i be looking at for a decent cabbie and if i where to part exchange my mk5 for spares or repairs what roughly shoukld i ask for my mk5 it has rs bumper valances a cossie style rad grill rs skirts and standard bumpers all the electrics work and so does the roof i am also thinking of putting on a new cream hood i have, the doors on my car aint that great as they have a few dents but theres no rust on the car except around the petrol cap and has a decent efi engine that hasnt let me down, if any one has a m4 that is road worthy and have a mk5 mine might make a good donor car as it has all parts there and nothing is missing any advice appreciated. as my car needs a full respray im thinking that i should source a good mk4 instead of throwing away my money on thye mk5.
