Guest avul
put the car up on axle stand's, do 1 side at a time & ave ur jack under the hub of the side ur doin so u can let the axle down 2 take out the shock & use the jack 2 put it bak in2 place. undo the bottom nut & bolt & remove it then take out the 2 bolt's that hold the shock the rear inner wing & take out the shock & spring 2 gether, now wiv the shock out undo the top nut & bolt (u dont need a spring compressor 4 the rear spring 2 compress it) but hold the spring down & take out the bolt & then just take the spring & shock apart, job done & then the same as in reverse 2 put bak 2gether, make sure that the dust cover's r in gd order as these r the commen cause 4 the rear shock 2 leak on the mk5,6 & 7 as the dust & dirt get in & kill the seal's, but they r an easy job 2 replace, it's just a shame that all moden cars ein't as easy these day's.
