Mk5 Back Panel Problem

I have Mk5 cabrio 05.1991 production

 

Have some damage but no welding marks.

Has some difference...

 

Microcat told us, what FINIS 6922041 placed form 08.1990 till 01.1995 (and after) BUT on my cabby it doesn't exist.

WTF? )))

 

I bought this reinforcement:

 

 

I need back panel assy 1667029 but can find only outer part of it 1022133.

inner part with place for latch hook i need too. please, anyone can tell me, where I can find 1667029?

Having looked for panels for a mk6 escort before. I came to the conclusion that since mk5/6 arn't very popular alot of the big firms havent bothered to make most of the panels available. Ford also stopped producing them relativly quickly

 

If the ford part is no longer available you either need to reshape the current one or find a cabby in scrap yard to cut the panel from.

1667029 (item 1) is the Rear Valance & the reinforcement assembly Fixed together

 

you can buy 6674269 (item3) the reinforcement on its own

BUT! I need back panel ASSY with inner reinforcement with place for latch hook and light swith. Panel assy for Mk5 cabrio has FINIS -

1667029, because inner part for cabrio doesn't come separetely from outer as for for 3/5door hatch.
