Guest Delboybully
I park my k-reg cabby on my drive. My drive slops down away from the house and i park my car facing the house. A couple of times recently i have heard the sound of water moving around when i first get in my car after it has been parked up for several days. Today i noticed that liquid had come from under the car somewhere on the drivers side. The liquid is water and not some car fluid. I am guessing that there are drain plugs to allow any water to escape and that the rear one on the drivers side is blocked. Am i right or is this a fault on escorts (in which case i shall have to park my car facing away from the house). If it does sound like a blocked drain plug, can somewhere tell me where it located

badger
bump anyone? hi mate there are drains either side of the back seat, the water from the roof runs that way, i have seen people unblock these by taking the back inner panel off and poking a wire coathanger down there i beleive the holes are right at the bottom of the wheel arch... i hope this helps

Guest Tuft
Remove the front inner plastic wheel arch and clean out the muck that accumulates behind it. The mud and leaves I found retained quite a lot of water. Thankfully I got to it before the rust got really bad.
