Guest skelly9134
I did mine recently as a got a new roof but i had to cut the hole out myself. Start off by marking out were your window is going to be, on my mk 6 i attatched the window and frame to the 2 arms on the side of the window and the two straps at the top then pressed the old window (while in the frame) into the roof, I drew a chalk line around the window and then removed the window. The measure in 3 inchs in from the chalk line and re-draw a template. cut out the inner chalk line. thats your hole. To remove your old window the insruction said to just push the old window out from the inside them remove all the staples from were the window frame is attatched to the roof. This didnt work to well due to the adehsive on the window so a soaked it in hot water to weaken the glue which worked. one the glass is out remove all the staples and then re-staple the frame into the new hole, (thats why you cut 3 inchs smaller to allow ) then re-fit the glass with adhesive and the outer seal. Its not an easy job to do so good luck
