Guest Andy H
hi delboybully i had the same problem about 2 months ago on ebay got mine for 40 quid but you need to make a note of the serial number which is on the bottom right of the fuse box along with the date of manufacture or if your any good at soldering you could split the box and re do any dry joints that will defo be causing the problems but bear in mind this is only a short term fix good luck mate
Guest Delboybully
Seeing as fuseboxs are a problem with escorts, if i get a used one wont i get the same problem in the future? This is why i would idealy like a recon fuse box. If i cant get a recon one or a new one at a decent price then i will have to go for a used one

Guest Delboybully
The guy fixng the car is, unsurprisingly, having trouble gettting a new fuse box for a reasonable price. He is still trying. He has found a used fuse box for £40 but he doesnt really want to go down that route. He says a new one is best but the cost is too much for me, whereas with a used box you can possibly be in the same boat some time in the near future. I mentioned about corrie (or someone else) fixing the box and he thinks this is a good idea. So Corrie (or anyone else) can you email me with how much you would charge to recon/fix my fuse box My email address is delboybully@hotmail.co.uk. thanks Edited December 21, 2010 by Delboybully
