Lumpy When Cold

hi all my engines lumpy when cold,tried new leads and plugs,i think cam follower is worn a little,but not terrible....any ideas,previous s.h. says compression on mnumber 3 cylinder is down.

Most of the old cabs will be lumpy when cold. Just old design and years of wear and tear. Turning the idle speed up will help a bit.

 

Anything down on compression is bad news. Could be head gasket. Could be piston rings. Could be valve related.
