Guest dave29 Posted October 2, 2010 Share Posted October 2, 2010 hi guys. im sure this subject has been covered loads of times but im needing so help in converting a positive polarity to a neg on a remote locking kit.ive got the lock and unlock wires sussed in the drivers side footwell i just need this relay sorting? cheers all. Guest dave29 Posted October 4, 2010 Share Posted October 4, 2010 i think i know what you mean ,on your central locking kit you will have a lock and unlock wire ,then you should have a common wire which at the moment will be conected to a live (positive) at the moment ,find this wire and disconect then reconect to a negative ,job done righty! just a quick update...... ive managed to suss the relay out to make it a negative trigger for the door locks but can i fook suss the relay for the solenoid boot pop.i was there ages trying different ways n cud,nt suss it.the wire from the alarm gives out a negative current of 500ma which i need to be a positive trigger.any sugestions guys? Guest dave29 Posted October 17, 2010 Share Posted October 17, 2010 any ideas on how to make the lights flash through the alarm? ive got the cental locking wired up but i cant suss out how to wire the lights in on the car so they flash when the alarm is armed/disarmed......any ideas. i think i need some diodes wired in somewhere as when i tryed to wire it in the hazzard light wiring it made all the indicators flash all at once.......like the hazzards.
