gingergman
ive got a iffy fuel gauge, when the tank is full there is no problem, its when it goes down to half full it gets issues, when you accelerate the needle goes right down through the red to the lowest point possible, let off the power and slow down and it goes back to half, but also when it gets to the last half a tank it gets quickly into the red so i dont know if its got petrol or not lol, id like the problem to be the tank but think its the dials?? anyone else get this or know how to sort it? Guest Lee81
You need to match the fuel tank sender to the fuel gauge. Around the end of 88 they were switched. The averaging circuit was in fuel gauge pre 88. After that the tank sender was changed so it would give the average reading. No need for this circuit in the fuel gauge
gingergman
ive got a new tank and sender unit to put on, if that dont change things then il try diffrent dials, its just soooo annoying lol
Guest Lee81
I have a sender that will work with that gauge and also a 88 spec instrument cluster. Fuel gauge has some furring on the black background though hence why i changed em.
