Guest steelcabby Posted July 28, 2010 Share Posted July 28, 2010 have you got the 1.8 16v cabby? the gearbox is the same so the mounts are the same, the only mount you will have to change is the main engine mount that comes with the rs2000 lump. the wiring is easy. just use the fusebox and engine wiring from the rs2000 and of course the ECU. if you have a mk6 then use the mk6 rs2000 stuff. and if you have a mk5, use the mk5 rs2000 stuff. no doubt this reply will get deleted. but to help you fully your have to visit this site to get the full details. http://www.rs2000-16v.com/forum/index.php? great bunch of people on there and you will have no problems with the conversion. all the stuff is cheap to buy too. you can pick an rs2000 up as a complete car for around £600-£1000. use what you need and strip the rest for sale. make your money back then. hope that helps mate Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
