Guest jaan2008 Posted June 15, 2010 Share Posted June 15, 2010 Hi For an MK6 1997 Ghia does anybody know if its easy to swap the wooden surround for the dash and gear lever for a new one? Guest Feeble Posted June 15, 2010 Share Posted June 15, 2010 Pretty easy mate. The gearknob surround just pulls upwards. The clock surround is a bit more of a pain. There are metal clips behind holding it all in... And I can't really remember where, but I did mine by myself without any advice, and didn't break anything. Take your time and it'll go fine!
