gingergman
hey all, quite some time ago i fitted remote central locking to my mk4, but i never done the wire to make the indicators flash when you use it, its just one blue wire i got for it but dont know what to wire it to to make it work properly? Any ideas where it should go? Thanks!

Guest Cabbytech
Yes m8, try this, seeing as you only have one wire, its better to make it into 2 to flash your indicators, all you need is 2 diodes, try to get some P600A from an electronics shop, they might even tell you that you can use smaller ones, but i prefer to keep it safe. Solder it all together and insulate it up, if your not sure how to do it, PM me your address and i will make it up for you ready to fit into the car, all i would want is your wheels in exchange lmao, only kidding lol, no charge to you.... gingergman
im not too bad on electrics but ive never heard "diodes" before what are they?? when i fitted the kit ages ago i had a go a wiring it up to flash them, i split the wire in to two and connected to both indicators but then when i indicated both flashed as it created a circit lol so would a dioded stop that or am i way off? and thank you for your help tony! Guest Cabbytech
your spot on m8, the diodes stop back feeds so your indicators will flash as normal when doing left or right, but when the central locking sends its signal they will both flash together,
