Guest s6boy1979
Not 100% about the oil but the sump is a straight forward swap, just make sure both serfaces are nice and clean so you get a good seal and they are torqued up as you don't want the bolts too loose or tight. Chris
Oils going to bugger oil..it'll be that thin As for the sump.. apply the seal to the block as oppesed to the sump.. damm site easier than getting it to stick to the pan as eleminates the risk of moving it when tightening back
Guest DEG
oil no good then?
Chris
Put is this way i used 5w 30 as flushing oil when doing a service.. you can do it on 15/50 depending on how fresh (rebuilt) the engine is,,but otherwise stick to 10w 40..
Guest KarlosG
There is a BIG difference between 5w 30 and 5w 50 In fact it's ideal, as it will get round the engine quickly from cold, and still maintain a good viscosity when hot!
