Rear Speaker Not Working (Mkv)

I have a small techtical problem...

The rear speaker on the right in my escort mkv xr3i...

I already replaced the original ford speakers with other ones, and still doesn't work.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

have you checked the connection behind the head unit? And also the settings on the head unit, make sure its set up to send even sound to the speakers

The head unit?

It's only not sending it to one rear speaker

Ok I've checked the head unit and found 2 loose cables,

I have no idea if they even are from the rear speaker though...

I bought the car with the radio already installed, here's a pictiure of the cables

its the biggest connector for the speakers, on the right, it has 8 wires, make sure there all conected, two will be for the rear right speaker. the head unit also has to be set to send the sound evenly from its settings.

also, try simply swaping the left for the right to see if its the speaker,

thanks for the comments, the cables from the right rear speaker seem tobe broken somewhere

I've connected the speaker to the radio itself and it worked, so what I'm going to do next week, is replace the old wires and laying new ones hopefully this will work!

Well, I just replaced the old cable with a new one and it works fine now!
