Guest animal
my battery keeps goinflat start fine go to work 10hrs battery flat jump start fine next morning fine go work same again its a new battery doin me ed in now its ground hog day everyday lol i'm having the same problem, once it starts it fine, will turn over ok .. leave it for a night and the next morning its as if the batterys been drained, even replaced the new battery as I thought it was a dud one but it still keeps doing it, at present the batterys on charge again and i'm trying to work out when the problem started, I'm disconecting things that I think may be the cause to see if theres any change, other then that it could be either a short circuit, a faulty alternator thats not charging the battery correctly or a badley adjusted drive belt but if I have any joy I will let you know

Guest adamk
Is you alternator good? If not, driving the car will drain the batt. and batt light on your dash may not work to tell you this. Also if your radio is wired wrong, IE, perm live and Rem mixed up, that can drain the batt too. Halford do alternators for 60 pounds, had a similar Prob on my MK4, changed batt, no good, changed alternator and sorted it. Hope that helps
