Guest DEG Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Hi all, A mate noticed the other day that my passenger wheel is alot closer to the back of the wheel arch the the other. Today measured it an hes right so took it the garage for them to have a look and when its up on the ramps the anti roll bar looks lower on one side which my mechanic thinks is them prob. he thinks that the anti roll bar needs replacing an the arms which come off it sory dont know what their called? any suggestions any1? Guest mossop1 Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 well if the track control arm is bent then yes the wheel will sit further back in the arch but you may be lucky and just change that arm and anti roll bar may go back to were it should.have you had the car a long time as this normally hapens when the car has a coming together with a kirb and car looses. Guest Cabbytech Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Once you have replaced the bits, get the geometry and tracking redone, otherwise your tyres could wear out quite quickly, you will probably notice that your steering wheel is aligned differently as well once you have changed everything.
