Guest SteveB Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 As im sure you all now know my cab has died and i have had the hard hard job of deciding to dismantle and sell on various parts i have pain stakingly put together as i am sure you should all understand this has been an upsetting event in my life and to be honest and put it into simple terms my head has been up my own arse for the past few weeks its not nice having to put a price on parts you have saved months for and have to just sell on so i apologise for not being around to sort you lot out I have not given up on the cab club at all but am dissapointed in some of you for waiting so long to sort out this months meet you all know its the first sunday of each month and some of you even have my mobile number if i was on holiday would it still have been upto me to sort you all out??? as you can probably tell from my abrupt mail i still not in the best of states and to be honest am holding back on opening up a few other gripes i have with certain north east members who state there here to help but are more than willing to stick a knife in your back the moment its turned i am fairly sure this will be edited soon so i hope you get a chance to read it those ppl i am also fairly sure you all will no longer wish me to carry out the dutys of north east coordinator although even with no cab i still feel loyal and willing to carry out this role i do love the cabriolet but at this moment in time i feel that another one will lead me down the same path as this one and i need a reliable car as it is afterall my daily drive which for the most of you this is not the case 11 months ago there was no north east meet I have built this up with the help of you all it is now one of the largest meets in the country in one of the coldest and wetest part of the country a place where supposidly there are not many cabs!!!!!!! if you decide to continue with the meets i am sure it will only become stronger the only plus i can find from the breaking of my cab is i have found so many more north east cabs which will all be pointed in the direction of this club and hopefully attending our meets i hope to see you all soon once i have a set of wheels and not buried upto my eye balls in car parts ps if anyone needs mk5/mk6 parts i have plenty lol. Sorry guys ,Due to not hearing anything I have informed hotel wont be turning up due to the staffing issues/ordering food in etc i needed to know.Sorry. Sort a date for nxt year & i'll sort it out & open it up to all areas & make a weekend of it either stopping in hotel or camping.
