Guest pjw Posted July 5, 2009 Share Posted July 5, 2009 a few questions, first do the back windows on a mk4 cab only go halfway down? is there any way to drop them all the way? secondly, my drivers window rattles about inside the door when its down. is there consumable rubbers that are supposed to hold it in place that may have come away? thirdly - i think this ties in with the question above - my drivers door window doesnt 'press' right up to the door rubber and the roof seal, possibly causing leaks in hard rain. is this common? thanks in advance, i figured it would be better than three separate posts! gingergman Posted July 5, 2009 Share Posted July 5, 2009 the rear windows only go halfway down, no way to make them drop fully. the window mec inside the door proberly has a plastic bit off the end missing, take the doorcard off and have a look when the windows down, while the door card is off there is a bolt what you can ajust up and down that makes the window go up and stop up further into the rubber Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest pjw Posted July 5, 2009 Share Posted July 5, 2009 thanks for the quick reply, i was twitching that it was like a taxi and they were set to only go halfway. ill whip the card off probably tomorrow night and have a look then, it just gets annoying hearing the window rattle every time i shut the bloody door.
