HI, Does anyone know if my pioneer deh 1120mp stereo should work with only the live and earth wires connected?? Just bought it and I have to wire it in manually, as my cab has no connecting blocks. Having a right nightmere,,,,,, Does the acc wire need to be connected, I hate electrics, keep blowing stereos up!!!

yeah if i remember correctly, my pioneer had the colours the other way round to the standard wiring, I think my pioneer red wire went to the escorts yellow wire (or vica versa). You COULD wire both pioneers power wires to the +12 live feed to the escort. That would mean then that you could have the stereo on even with your keys out of the ignition. Anyway glad you solved the problem
