Guest MadCow
Hi peeps, My cars been giving me constant electrical problems, and this morning I jumped in her, shes winding over, the fuel gauge reads over 1/4 tank, the fuel pump kiks in for a couple of seconds when I switch on ignition, checked fuel cut off, but she just keeps winding and won't start, please is there any one thats had this problem? I've spent so much money on this car in the last few months, and this feels like the final straw, any help would be received with great thanks. Oh and its a mk5 Cabby xr3i (105ps) Thanks again, Mel. RobMk4TwinCarb
If it isn't firing a possible cause could be the crank position sensor, if that isn't on properly or is broken then you wont get any spark. Im only assuming your engine would have one as I have never owned a mk5 but yea, could be your problem.
