Guest matt-the-dj
had a similar one on my mk5 dash, if i remember correctly it was a dirty crankcase sensor........not 100% sure but worth a look
RScab
Does your starter motor have a heat shield fitted? Had the same problem on a mondeo, Starter was cooking when the engine was hot. Fitted a heat shield and was fine after that, Worth a try.

Guest kevspireites
well heres an update changed crank sensor, coil pack new plugs leads etc wouldn't start again after about an hours run left it 10 mins started fine but i had no lights, indicators, wipers, heaters, windows etc more or less nothing electrical got home and parked her up. this morning went out and the car wouldn't start, so decided to compare with bro in laws as its the same thinking surley this is an electrical problem, we found a few relay's less in my fuse box so decided to put them in mine out of his and hey presto it started only to find out his still did too, so took the fuses back out and the car still started at this time my head is ready to explode as this makes no sense when it wouldn't start prior to putting the relays in am totaly stumped now so any help would be great although i have a feeling it will baffle you all aswell
Guest charlie74
might be the fuse box itself, any signs of corrosion?
