Admin Paul Posted April 8, 2009 Admin Share Posted April 8, 2009 Since the rebuild, when you start the car it sits around 2000rpm for ages before dropping to 1000. I have changed the ICV and still the same. Any ideas on what else would cause it? Paul

Admin Paul Posted April 8, 2009 Author Admin Share Posted April 8, 2009 Right changed the ICV and TPS and still the same, when it warms up it seems to drop to 1000 rpm, is this normal on a EFI also the adjustment screw for tick over is all the way in
allblue
I have had a similar prob with my 90 Efi. On startup it revs high at 1600 rpm but when warmed up it drops down to the usual 900rpm. Never could identify the cause. Never casued any problems in general driving so I just left it, as is.
