Guest McGoo69
Hi ive lowerd my escort mk6 around 40mm i think using standerd shocks and just lowering springs, basicly its been done on the cheap to get my escort cosworth wheels on but the bottom or the car scrapes to much and ibe had enough what suspension set ups are available to give my car no more than a 20-30mm drop? coilovers or suspension units im not bother i just want to sort out the ride before i sell it or change the wheels matty

Guest MCBob
Get stiffened shocks and springs. Drive over broken bumps with one wheel on the bump.
Guest McGoo69
yeh i do that anyway but some arnt broken so even if you hit the bumps at a angle so only one wheel goes up the bump at a time it still scrapes a bit

Guest Dazzaas
if its just the rubbing problem have your arches crimped or change tyre size cos that worked for me 205/40/17 sorted rubbing but they came with 215/45/17 and rubbed like a dog on heat after change in tyre size had 5 people crammed in back and no rubbing (mr policeman it was a 7 seater honest guv ) dazza
