here goes

you need to get yourself a set of these - can usually find them on ebay

and a set of 165mm speakers

in my case these

you need to remove the door card

theres a screw inside the door opening leaver, one in the handle that you use to shut the door with (when inside) one (maby 2) in the door pocket and a few smaller ones around the side and underneath the door card

lift the door card upwards to unclip it from the top clips.

remove the old speaker

it should then look somthing like this

you then need to attach the new speaker converter plates,

(i think this is done by either drilling and self tappers or using existing holes)

connect the wires up to the speaker, i chopped the ford plug off the end and had mine going through a crossover unit, you can crimp the correct fittings on the end of the ford wiring and go from there tho ( maplins/halfords are probably the best place to get them from - they do tend to be a bit procy from them tho)

you then need to mount the speaker (i sued the 4 pre-drilled holes on the new plate and used self tappers)

this is it fitted

refit the door card "fitting is the reverse of removal" - Haynes

make sure you get the door card in the top clips correctly, can make the door card ftay a bit if ya mess it up so tke ur time and do it carefully

once done turn it up LOUD!!!!!!
