alarm and imobilise her its too easy to break into .if its got alarm.open bonnet(can be done by reaching under car) disconnect battery .disconnect alrm siren , reconnect battery . slash roof put arm through open door.steering lock is easy to snap .ignition is easy to hot wire but most will black box then there off in ur pride and joy remember this can be done in under 5 mins.when ur asleep thts nothing once uve woke up she's probably burnt out.if uts under over m reg it will be imobilsed but never trust stand ford crap cat 1 all the way.if you own a car with no security e.g fiesta k plate 3minute it takes to twoc or e.g bmw 325i g plate 10 mins to twoc.forget yellow steering locks only any good if it covers complete steering wheel as thieves will cut through steerig wheel to get em off

I put discrete immobiliser on all my cars. I've got one on the XR2 but not going to discuss iton a firum obviously!

I would 100% recommend using a Disklok on any XR. Regardless of what other security you have or don't have, it'd the instant visual "I'm not going to mess with that" that puts them off as thieves know how hard they are to get off.

Even when mine is out of the garage and sat idling away and I'm in the garage, I Disklok it as you can see.

Can't be too careful mate.

Not sure about the wheels... they are stamped "Ronal/Ford" and have proper Ford part numbers and finis codes on. The back of the centrecaps are all stamped up with Ford numbers too.

Don't know if they were a dealer option or something.

They're 6Jx13 same as Pepperpots too.

Still don't like 'em.
