Guest jonnyc
Hi all what was meant to be an easy rear wheel cylinder change today went a bit wrong. Fitted the cylinder in fine but on take out the brake pipe that goes into the wheel cylinder it decided to brake i think the pipe corroded itself onto the nut!!! So does anyone have a spare right hand side rear hard brake pipe lying around....the one that goes around the suspension leg and fixes into the rubber flexible pipe before the drum? See Picture below for which is needed as you can see in the picture its temporarily covered with a yellow dust cover. Many Thanks Jonathan Edited August 12, 2008 by jonnyc

Guest marcus
Do motor factors still make them for customers ? thought this was now illegal for them to make braking hyd lines in copper or similar, or am i wrong, not to say that they dont sell the tubing and ends seperatly. Adios Steve.

Adios Steve. Recently replaced mine and had new ones made by local motor spares shop, I just had to put bends in. Dont quote me but I dont think it is illegal as all the motor spares near me make them.
