Guest Kyle
Hi All, This may be a bit of a noob question but in the back of my MK6 I have speaker casing on either side above the window winder. I can't seem to get the casing off to put a speaker in though. Is there a screw I need to undo? Do I just pull it off? (Have pulled it quite hard but I'm scared I'll break it.) Thanks. Escort Cabriolet Club
Its not hard to do mate, just time consuming, be ideal to have the weather too, remove the rear lower bench, there are a couple of screws holding the card in down the side of the door apature, then it needs a good tug as there clipped in, always remove the winder first though, any probs let us all know and we will try and help !!! Guest 6tracy9
Be firm but gentle when you have removed the screws - sometimes the clips have a tendancy to break!

Escort Cabriolet Club
There is a sping circlip holding them on mate, a small flat head scredriver will get it off, just locate on of the 2 ends and release it !!!
Guest markeyboy
there is a little trick that ya can do with a bit of rag, ya tuck it behind the winder (where the clip is) and pull it back and thorth kinda like the old shoe shine ploke would do, it catches the clip and as you pull it it pings off, then ya gota find the clip - that can travel far
