badger Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 hi people has anyone had trouble with crankshaft sensor on efi mk4 i have taken it out and tested resistance across pins and it stands at 400 ohms which is correct just seeing if anyone has had one thats ok on resistance but still didn't work. Guest chris24 Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 hi , sorry i cant help with the testing bit but just to say that if you get a new one make sure its the same length i had a mobile tuner out to mine and he said it was fubared and went off for another, got it, fitted it and 3 hours later when car still wouldn't go he decided to check it was right,(20mm too short i think!) got proper one from andrew page and it fired up firt turn of key Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
