Hi Peeps !!! :big_wave:

OK, some of you may have noticed that my Cab is for sale, this is not due to the fact I am bored with it, far from it, its just to darn expensive on Petrol, especialy at an avaerage price of £1.15 up my way !!!

I have spent a good bit of coin on the cab and would hate to sell it at a loss, so an alternative is required !!!

I want to get an LPG Conversion done, not only will it save me money and enable me to do more shows, but I could use it for work too !!!

DO YOU KNOW ANY ONE THAT IS L.P.G.A. APPROVED WHO COULD DO ME A CONVERSION WITH A TYRE WELL, (Dohnut) TANK FOR A GOOD PRICE ???

LET ME KNOW SO I CAN KEEP THE X4GC !!!! :banana_dance:

CHARLZY

LPG conversion.. i was thinking about this the other day.. There was a large thing about it in the paper a few weeks back..

One of the major players in the LPG conversion market is http://www.tinleytech.co.uk

They do conversions, they also supply all the parts so you can do your own if you want to..

They have been recomended in national newspapers and quite a few car magazines.

Check it out!

If you do it yourself do you then need to take it somewhere to get it certificated?

I know someone who done their own conversion on a land rover but they didn't get it certificated, Not sure what this affects though - i guess insurance would want a certificate.

the citificat only mean you dont pay congestion charges

if you dont go in and out london i would worry ........... thats all i know lol

insurance is intresting one with regards to gas conversions some modded places wont touch it sme as nitrous

Id ideally get it certified, cos quite a few cities are contemplating introducing a congestion charge..

Near me, Derby, Leicester and Nottingham are all contemplating it.

If you get it certified, you can happily drive around with no worries, and no extra costs for congestion charging.
