Guest PeteUK
the only reason I can't buy a mk4 is because I want 3 point seat belts in the back, and mk4 have lap belts. I've been told that there is no way of converting a mk4 to a 3 point belt, but what if the rear seat was taken from a later model and fitted to a mk4. Would this fit, to enable the 3 point belt to be used?
Chris
why do you ned 3 pontbelts?..if ts for a child seat theres plenty on the market that work with lapbelts
Guest PeteUK
yep, it's for child seats. I've got 2 kids. I know that the baby seat will work with a lap belt, as it has a built in harness for the baby and the lap belt is just used to hold back the seat itself, but i've also got a 3 year old who has a booster seat. He will need to be held in with a seatbelt, and i'd prefer it to be a 3 point.
