Guest tom Posted April 11, 2008 Share Posted April 11, 2008 Ello all Just a quick one, on my last MOT the guy pointed out that my rear lights (side/ main and fog) dim slightly when the repeaters flash. Now, I've taken the ground off and cleaned up the points in the back of the car and its still doing it. Where else should i be checking to fix this? escortcabrioletclub Posted April 11, 2008 Share Posted April 11, 2008 well this is a intresting one ...... i will be nice ok cleaning the terminal will not do it 2 thinks happen 1 the light unit is at falt 2 the earth wire to plug corodes or dry jiont ocures best thing is to replace the plug and run a exstra earth from the plug ............. if it dont fix 100% replace the light unit ie the back bit hope that helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
